Somehow people continue to mention these weigt and thickness like they are unanimously bad things. I think the thicksness is important, it makes the device more robust, sturdy, less breakable. We have bodies full of non-straight-lines, and a somewhat thick device has a better chance to survive in the back pocket of your pants or somewhere else.

The same goes for weight. If my device is too light, I can't feel it in my pocket and, distracted as I am, I'd easily lose it. Sometimes I get drunk in parties, and it really helps if I can feel the weight of my mobile, lest someone could even steal it from me.

It seems like a trend to consider good only the phones that follow the iPhone's design. Even that capacitive touchscreen fashion - it's not universal. I live in a tropical country (Brazil) and sometimes even at night it's too warm here, I got a somewhat oily skin and it's usual for me to be sweating. Using my fingers in such a scenario is disastrous, the screen gets dirty and very difficult to clean, unpleasant to watch.

The stylus solves this problems and is much more precise. I like drawing on my device and it's way better for that too.
