Yeh, I am going to go down the scratchbox route, but even when I have that, i'm goina be confused, if its not as easy as being able to give instructions (i.e. it differs per app) then fair enough i'll have to just look in to it.

Is it possible to add a basic linux repository source and use apt-get like you do on the ubuntu to get the same ones?
