okay guys thanks for the initial "its impossible" when it clearly isn't, thanks for the 4 page argument over who said what, thanks for telling me to f**k off and buy an iphone, thanks for making me feel stupid for not being a hardcore linux developer 3 weeks after being introduced to it, thanks for the thrad tags too. i wanted a device that fits all my needs and the n900 was it, i dont want a laptop, i especially dont want to take one to the pub with me. i dont want an iphone for many many reasons. i dont want to carry 3 devices with me wherever i go. i think it would be nice to hold a pint in one hand without having to give up texting, but it isn't essential, i was unaware merely enquiring about it would cause so much hurt and anguish to so many people. i understand that resources are stretched, functionality is currently met and even though it would be nice to have portrait text its far from a priority, so the only genuine thanks of this post goes to that one usefel proportionate response, i can only apologise for being so selfish as to say something would be useful.
