Thanks for the helpful replies! megabyte, thanks for all those details. I am looking for compactness so I would prefer to go with the 4-high keyboard, Think Outside Stowaway Bluetooth Keyboard for PDA, which was my top-most link.

Note that it's a "four-row" keyboard: no number keys! (You have to use Fn to get a number, and I'm not sure if the numbers work on N800)

Now what you wrote there made me nervous

Has anyone confirmed that the number keys work with an N800 (or even an N770)? I would think that it would work? As soon as I get confirmation, I am pulling the trigger.
