BN900: The v3b image file should be able to play mp3 files using the "Music Player" in the LXDE menu. It uses a great deal of processing power to do so, however. You may need to install MP3 plugins for other apps. Use Synaptic or packages.debian.org to search for the appropriate plugins. (Honestly, Easy Debian isn't a great media playing option. There's lots of good media players available for Maemo)
