I guess my disappointment is with the disconnect between Nokia Canada & Nokia USA. Consumers shouldn't have to suffer...

My transaction was exclusively Canadian. I therefore would expect Nokia Canada to handle things internally. I find it hard to believe that Nokia Canada cannot take care of N900 warranty claims however they choose to deal with them.

My reference to the GN1 was to say that Nokia is quickly losing ground here in Canada... and this warranty problem will likely tip the scales for many Canadians.

To complete my absurdity of N900 existence - after providing the Nokia USA rep with my US address I was asked if I would be signing for the return shipment in person! Wow... anyway we'll see what happens...
