echo123 (British bird) did NOT call me back straight away today. I think the service is probably down as it was working fine last night

echo-chinese (Chinese chick) did call me back straight away. I couldn't understand a word of what she said, but I can't blame Skype for that.

The incoming recorded test message is pretty much the same as the recorded test message you hear when dialing the echo123 service - ie. about 15-20 seconds of waffle, a ping sound then you record a test message (~10 seconds) which is played back to you, then it's explained that if you didn't hear your message you have a misfoconfiguration of microphone issue (genius!).
