I think it'll be funny if it was launch on the same day later, and Ronaldo posted another TOPIC saying it's REAL, and nobody bother nor believes, wouldn't want to be fooled twice

Anyway, the updates are really slow and Maemo5 is still far from complete or stable, still has so many things to improve especially on the basic Phone functionailty which commonly found on most Phones. At this rate, I wonder how long will it take, seriously. PR1.2 itself took so long after the "speculated" date. Look at the progress of Android.

Moreover, in my country, they've just launched the N900 officially. At first I thought PR1.2 will be available before they launch, but NO, I wonder what's Nokia thinking. Perhaps they're more concern about marketing, to launch the phone around the same time as the Milestone and X10 in my country. Bad move, launching before PR1.2 which could've reduce many problems/complains from buyers, such as the simple USSD function which is used by most of the handphone users in my country. And the sales people never bothered to explain or provide the USSD widgets, etc.
Even the Android official set here gets Android 2.1 out of the box.

own a french car, own a french phone,... both seems have similar support issues, why why why....

Nonetheless, the N900 is still a great device, just the update is really taking a long time, very eager to have the improved OS with more features/functions, etc.
