I know this has been said before but marking as read n the server doesn't help due to issues in the design of GV. Archiving is the only way to for GV to ignore them. But doing that makes to harder for to help me know if things are fixed

TOR does store all messages downloaded from GV and checks the server timestamps. The logic is just faulty

I always ignored the server timestamp out of paranoia in working with RTComm. I'll try and experiment to use the server timestamp.
