I had a similar problem here. Try going into Settings then from within settings Hide User Agent then from within user agent hit Remove. for me the ovi site was sensitive to the user agent when it was on in the maemo browser.

Worked for me so worth a try. Fingers crossed.

In all honesty tho apart from downloading firefox from ovi site direct (since uninstalled as microb much better) everything else was via application manager.
