I have used it everyday for two weeks now, and other than adding full screen and moving "Exit" and "rotate display" to the front page of their menu's as a convienence, I haven't changed a dang setting... so, please leave you crap out of this thread unless you are:

1. Have a problem.
2. Providing a solution.

Most of the "problems" reported here are settings related.

Not Sygic default settings, but settings changed by the user at some point. Installation problems seem to be related to having and correctly installing the .deb file.

This product is at least as good, if not better than my wifes 4.3" display TomTom One which I just recently ran side by side on a trip to "Grand-Ma's" today, on Easter Sunday.

People are going into a configuration file because they complain of lag. What they are not saying is if this "lag is present when they are following a planned route or are just using it as a moving map.

I have had no lag when in route mode as Sygic has a pretty aggressive pre-fetch. You see this when you pass a turn that you were supposed to make on the planned route. The display will turn as if you made it, Sygic will pull another position reading and learn you hadn't, immediately correct its display and instantly calculate a new route.

The TomTom on the other hand displays your error immediately but only calculates a freakin' u-turn up ahead, it will waste its time with this and calculate U-turns 2 or 3 times before committing to a full route calculation. (These U-turns it suggests are where it first assumes a break in a divided highway. More often than not the U-turn is illegal or is physically impossible to complete.)

Now using Sygic as a moving map I see lag, but that is because the freakin' thing doesn't know which way I'm going to turn, if any. It obviously waits for more position input before committing to a display change.

I got an exceptional value for the 49 euros that I paid for it. However, I am not going to post implying that if someone didn't get the same value it must be because they are a dip shyt or don't realy use it
Please don't post with nothing more than an opinion that implies that people like me who paid for this product are delusional. it makes the forum look bad dude.

BTW, if I just wanted a dang moving map I would have used the OVI map app that came free on my N900.
