Did you check if the Connection to the Net was still active ?
I had the same Problems.
The Solution was to play a Internetradio Station.
The Nokia was permanently conneted and i could connect to the Nokia.

I noticed that somtimes the Nokia770 decides to drop the Connection despite the fact that i configured it to permanently stay connected.
