Depends what you mean. As mentioned above, this only tweaks the range of speeds available for the N900 to automagically use so as long as its stable there should be no reason to alter it.

I had initially thought it would be easy to choose the speeds as there is a file /etc/pmconfig that would appear to configure the speeds. Obviously this is not the case however as that file still says 600Mhz max but with the 900Mhz kernel it is happily using 900Mhz max. So anyone got any clue what that file is about?
