It's not really about the clockspeed. It's much more about the multicore design. OMAP4 won't have anything over 1ghz processors for year to come. Tegra 2 is maxed to 1ghz(will have two of them) and Snapdragon next generation(Snapdragon 2) will be running on 1.3ghz.
