Could someone with understanding of audio software and the n900 trim down that list to feasible alternatives?

After my uninformed quick glance at that list, I'd nominate Audacity, Ecasound, Sweep and ReZound to a first round of being looked upon buy someone who has any skills and knowledge, unlike myself.
