My own personal experience with Nokia UK and that of my brother with Nokia Ireland, is not to buy from Nokia if at all possible. They have no concept of customer service and it is an uphill battle to get anywhere with them.
Better by far to buy from Amazon or other reputable retailer.
You mention small claims court, are you based in UK? . If so then you are probably stuck with Nokia UK's shabby ineptitude - as indeed I was. However Nokia Belgium who handle the online sales for countries incl Ireland seem to be cut from a superior cloth altogether and you might like to direct your issue to them at
online-sales@nokia.com
. Nokia UK don't keep stock and delivery comes direct from the Netherlands anyway so you might get somewhere with the Belgium office.
Also if payment was made by credit card then involve the credit card co. by raising a dispute flag with them.
