Pepperv/anyone, when I try to run your script from message #24, it seems to do it, but none of the variables are being used where need be.

I'm a complete newbie to linux, so have little idea what I'm doing in general. :P

My set up is a Nokia 770, upgraded to the 2007 hacked ROM with Osso-Xterm and becomeroot installed. I set up the Adhoc network to "BlueToothPAN" as required and did all the steps listed prior to running the script. I assume all the prior steps only need to be done once ever.

I open the xterm window, do a sudo gainroot and then exec btpan.sh(your script). It looks like it's doing what it should, but none of the variables are being used. I am doing all this on the 770 itself.
