I don't need to Google "overclocking consequences" and do research. We all know the primary risk is that overclocking creates extra heat and this can damage components.
Other "experts" mentioned it is rarely heat for ARM processor, the heat are most probably the battery.

It's good to read from other sites as well, so know what's happening around and also learn more things.

I'm no expert, but I understand what you're trying to say about N900 OC with current custom testing kernels. Mostly these kernels are all under sort of trial-and-error or try-outs.

Hopefully we'll get a stable and good OC settings soon, and also someone to come up with the app like Android which allows changing clock speed at runtime with intelligent features.
