Although the keyboard is nice, i'd always go for iphone hardware and maemo over the alternative.

Although if we're doing completely made up dream ideas:
iPhone hardware + Maemo + all appz EVA

More interestingly, would you have the mermaid: human top and fish bottom or vice versa?

Nokia are a business and have chosen a path of using the OSS community phenomenon to reduce their overheads specifically after sales support and development. Unlike Apple who do the opposite and make a killing from their Applications store.
