it has been 24 hrs since I bought my new N900
and after owning the iphone and also an android based device i can honestly say the N900 has a lot to offer with it's OS

anyway thanks to everyone here i have a stable OC'ed device with a lot of extra stuff on it
could'nt have done that without the help and posts of the people here
