i guess the question is do you understand the holy trinity of iso/aperture/shutter?

its for slrs generally but the principles remain. on the N900 only we cant control aperture so you are restricted to iso and shutter. you do get the addition of 'exposure' which allows a certain amount of over and under exposure.
an example is at the caravan site where we have a holiday home they do childrens shows. they are dark rooms with characters on a stage that varies from dark to well lit. i have found on my phone that setting iso to 400 and upping exposure does help to avoid shake and produces acceptable piccys.
you do need to understand a bit about what the settings do and tweak in situ though
