Using Titan's Ideal-Kernel made available yesterday (so this could be the "old" version). Stock pmconfig (exception: max-cpu-freq-setting) and no "funny things" running in the background. Not using the renice-tuning-things posted a couple of days ago.
I'm experiencing an increase in power-consumption when the phone uses 3G-Network-Connection. WLAN-Connection is quite inexpensive.
This morning I disconnected the N900 at about 6AM fully charged. Then I drove to work (using bluetooth-connection with handsfree-profile and connected car-charger). Now it is 7:41AM and the remaining battery-power is _58%_ refering to battery-graph.
I don't really know if this is related to the Ideal-Kernel alone. I did experience quite a lot of power-consumption even with the stock-kernel using 3G.
My phone is connected to mfe (synch-interval 30mins, not always connected), to my imap-mailaccount (synch-interval 30mins) and to sip and skype.
I will be watching the power-consumption during this work-day (mostly 3G, some 2G, no WLAN) to report a more detailed view if I have something to report
Edit: To try to save some power I unloaded the wlan-module (wifi-switcher) and switched the backlight to 2nd level now. If the power-consumption stays that high I will disconnect sip and skype.
