I have to fight with the phone just to answer a call. When I try to hit answer the phone decides that it will flip to portrait, so I have to stare & wait for the orientation to adjust the UI so I can press the button. Sometimes it tries to flip immediate back to landscape then AGAIN to portrait; in these times I end up missing the call, because I can't answer the damn phone in time.

Personnaly I like the Calender very much in small details, using it. Compared to a Blackberry it is much quicker to make a new appointment IMO. I use and sync only one calender flawlessly with Office 2007. E-mail is fine for me too, using a Dutch provider and Gmail, what is your problem?

As for calling: change in settings the way the phone app is orientated, if it does not work for you.
And when you really have to wait before the screen is built up turning to portrait mode, you might consider deleting history in MicroB (really, that's a bug in some way), check your free space in rootfs, reboot or reflash. When this does not work, bring it back to the shop for repair..
Just my opinion, sorry.
