Hi all. When I'm @ home I've got two networks available, a N-class with an SSID that starts with 'G' & a G-class that starts with 'M'. Obviously I'd like my N900 to connect to & stay connected to the G class network so it doesn't slow down the N, but it will keep switching over to the N after the next time it rescans after
Autodisconnect
has done it's duty.
I'd prefer to keep both in my known network list because there are sometimes that I need to use the N, as it is my internal network that my fileserver is on. But there doesn't seem to be any option to set a network priority. I've found
bug 8444
which covers the same issue from the opposite angle, so I'm guessing this isn't currently possible.
I can of course change one of the SSID's, which might work because I'm guessing the network is selected based on the alpha-numeric order of the SSID. I tried changing the stored network name, but that didn't work, which is why I think it's the SSID, but before going through the hassle of doing that, can anyone confirm this hypothesis?
