Sorry, but I'm a little confused. Are you talking about programming or do you just want to know how to get your name and Avatar into your Conversations? The latter is done through Contacts: Go to the "My information" menu item and edit your name. For the Avatar, keep clicking on the image area until you get to the image selection/browse dialog. If you were talking about programming, hold tight, I'll be posting information here as soon as I can, but I have to finish my taxes, and I also go into parenting mode today. But I do have good stuff to share, and I'm trying to get it out no later than Friday. The last week has been very educational, and I was surprised that I made as much progress as I did. Stay tuned.
