Really weird... Did you have the proxy configured when trying to access http://multimedia/ through the browser? I guess you could call and ask their techsupport if they know what might be wrong, they might block access on IMEI or something similar (just speculating).

Seems I managed to fix the contacts list when launching via send via service, I have no idea how, but it's working after the last 4 commits in git:

Problem with fMMS? Run in x-terminal: cp /tmp/fmms.log /home/user/MyDocs/
After that you'll see fmms.log in filemanager or when you connect the device to your desktop as a mass storage device.
