I think this is also Nokia's marketing people checking the waters. The question about being able to change the covers, 'I use my mobile phone as a fashion accessory', 'I would have less friends' etc are, I am 99% sure, there to be cross-referenced with the 'I am a hardcore linux geek' questions so they can say X% of hardcore linux users actually care about what people think of their phone, or X% of survey respondants cared less about functionality and more about the cachet of the phone. They'll use it to drive future marketing strategy as well, those questions give it away!
