well, most of the high tech stuff were also made in China. It's depending on the QA control.

PS3, Wii, iphone, etc were all made in China by Foxconn/ASUS (Taiwanese with factory in China).

Mine is made in Korea, but I'd rather have it made in China by Foxconn. No offence to anyone either, but things I had made by Samsung/LG has higher failure rate than my Acer/Asus.
