Please help my trauma accumulated brain.
What is different with Maemo compared to Android that requires a more complex process for overclocking? On the Droid, you simply install the kernel and then SetCPU and the app allows many adjustments through the GUI. Very simple and even a caveman could do it.
The efforts here are very appreciated, but the actual process seems a lot more complex and more prone to possible error.
I OC'd my N900 with one of the original 125-800mhz kernels via the internal flasher (when OCing for N900 started), but now the process steps are a tad more involved. I would love to have the same kernel, but with LV parameters, but following the threads has become less than concise (for rubes like me). More importantly, no longer as simple as one file installed via the internal flasher.
