I've been using the search facility for information on how to format the external memory (samsung MSD 8 GB class 6), but I did not get the details right and can help me with the obvious.

I am a beginner in using Maemo OS. Please help to guide me to format and partition the MSD. Last question, may i install application on the MSD ?? How can i do?
