If program is cleanly written (without apsolute memory access), Chip mem can be alocated and used same way as fast memory.
Chip memory is let's say Graphic memory, and you can not display graphic out of fast memory, so it can not apply other way around.
512k graphic memory is enough to display graphic on OCS graphic modes. On ECS modes you need a bit more (1MB). On AGA modes you need 2MB.
UAE4All emulates OCS only so 512 chip should be enough.
