You downloaded a command line tool - not a gui application

Now you need to retry this command in x-terminal

gst-launch v4l2src device=/dev/video1 ! autovideosink

gst-launch is part of the suite that you downloaded, before-hand you got an error saying it did not exist, so after downloading it should now exist
