I have already tried re-flashing my 770 with the Windows program to no avail. Is there anything else I can do on my own to fix this problem? I would hate to send it back to Nokia for warranty repair, as I am sure that it will take at least a month to get it back, and it works in all other respects.

Thanks in advance for any helpful responses!
I got mine a week ago and it's the same since then. Well, mine is little bit different than yours because 1 out of 10, it "sees" the bluetooth devices around. I can't use my BT GPS receiver because of this problem. I was going to send it back to Nokia but first tried to post on different forums (posted 4 threads in 3 different forums) but nobody replied so far. Only one person told me that his bluetooth starts to work everytime he restarts the btdaemon. If you have xterm on your 770 try "/etc/init.d/btcond restart" as root. Mine doesn't work with this method.

All I know is, this problem is not common for Nokia 770, but very common for PCs with build-in bluetooth.

Also, try running "hcitool scan" command on xterm. If it gives the error "Device not found: No such device" then welcome onboard!

Good luck and please also let me know if you can find a solution.
