excuse the economic ignorance here.. but,

if we trade in the £ for the € don't we write off all the 'quantitative easing' that we've been getting up to the last 18 months while keeping interest rates at next to nothing (inflation is coming ladies and gentlemen especially with the overspend the Olympics will end up costing)..

ps: with the maemo poll at the moment, ie: Lib 42%, Con 26%, Lab 18%, that would mean that Liberals have 436 seats, a 222 seat majority.Conservatives 106 seats. Labour 79 seats.
