I'm going to reflash my N900 including the eMMC completely ad start again.
This desktop-base issue and GTK warning*** is wrong.

Have you installed anything extra? Maybe in Easy Debian? Something like Devel tools or ..... ? (I'm a linux NOOOOOOOOB!!!)
