As I understand it, I can sync my itunes songs, podcasts and audiobooks on my N900, right? I do most of my ipod listening through my BMW 328i's ipod jack, that is hardwired into my car's radio system. Is there any sort of way the N900 can be plugged into that with some sort of adapter? I would guess not, but I figured it would be worth checking.

Thanks in advance and N900 rocks!
Sorry for going back to the original question

It's a standard USB where you connect your ipod cable, isn't it?
At least that's how it is in mine; the usb is under the armrest and next to it is a line-in.

In that usb connector you can connect your ipod, flash or any standard mass storage device (including the N900).

The usb connection works as expected, the playback is controlled by the car's stereo and charges at the same time the phone. I prefer to use though the line-in because I want to have the ability to use the map application + i find it to boring to connect/disconnect cables and in the usb i have a 16GB tiny flash stick permanently.

Finally, I have found quite easy to make the FM transmitter to work but I wasn't impressed by the quality of the sound, but this really depends on the type of music you usually listen and the stereo system installed.

Hope it helps.
