Do this:

apt-get remove --purge qtirreco
apt-get remove --purge lirc
cd /etc/lirc (to see if it is removed properly, This should be not exist)
cd /etc (lirc.conf should not be on the list)

remove MyDocs/qtirreco from File Browser


Reboot.

Enable Extra-Testing
--------------------------------
Install Qtirreco 3.0.1
Reboot

x-terminal: ps

you should see something like: lircd .... ... port ....
If the lircd is enabled and still no infrared signal on the camera then...

Repeat step 1 again and remove everything only this time delete the "MyDocs/qtirreco" first then open up the app again.

Then if you can't see the signal, try remove it completely.
And do it from scratch after reboot.

type: apt-get install qtirreco (with extra-testing enabled)
It should say fixing the path and stuff to lircd

Now go to the qtirreco app and download a remote and test it out.
