Why am I so fascinated with this thread? Why can't I stop reading the comments? I am not actually concerned about the 1.2 upgrade...I want it, but I am very happy with my n900 and have nothing to ***** about.

I think I just enjoy reading every 100th thread or so when someone goes off on how we need to be patient and it will be here eventually--or says that they are giving up and buying a Nokia 5100 or something. (5160 was my first cell phone over a decade ago--I'm still waiting for the firmware update on it. I think I finally gave it to goodwill last year.)

I must also add that I like the Chuck Norris turn this thread has taken, though I find the countervailing Mr. T references to be sadly lacking. I pity the fool who is withholding the 1.2 update.

So I extend a hardy thanks to the Maemo community for giving me such a ridiculous way to waste my billable hours during the day.
