if you don't happen to have rootsh installed you'll need to get that. got to application manager and disable third party catalogues and extras-testing and extras-devel if you have them. If you don't have extra catalogues you can try disabling the nokia and ovi catalogues and only leave maemo.org (aka extras)
then install rootsh from there.
