So the power key trick works reliably even when the "Fix LXDE keyboard" fails? Can you confirm that? Then we should perhaps say so in the wiki where the two possibilities are mentioned on a par.

I have tried OO outside of LXDE but it is not, as of yet, set up the way I like. I like the Debian LXDE so I alway open OO from there.

xterm is on my maemo screen. It is just an xterminal.

Also, I repeated the phone test and, again, the Fix LXDE keyboard did not fix the problem. But the "trick" worked. So either I messed things up or they are different.
