Hi guys. Did a search of how to delete an access point and the search led me to this bug thread
this bug thread
. I have 4 in total and want to remove two. Any how I tried to do what it says but I can't get it to remove the unwanted access points. I run the command and nothing happens. Just goes to a new terminal line.
Following found using "
gconftool -R /system/osso/connectivity/IAP
" -
name =
cd
gprs_username =
gprs_accesspointname =
/system/osso/connectivity/IAP/3services
:
ipv4_address = 0.0.0.0
ipv4_autodns = true
ipv4_type = AUTO
ipv4_gateway = 0.0.0.0
proxy_http = 10.176.57.25
proxy_rtsp =
proxy_rtsp_port = 0
Am I correct in trying to run the command -
gconftool-2 --recursive-unset /system/osso/connectivity/IAP/
cd
Thanks
Edit: Problem solved
-
Entered the wrong name for the command. Was suppost to enter the access point
path
, not its name -
gconftool-2 --recursive-unset
/system/osso/connectivity/IAP/3services
for the access point named
cd
Hope this helps someone else
