Could the above be attempted and work?

I would love to run android on my N900, but am not interested in doing a full install and compiling kernels and the like... Just too hard!

But could something like easy debian work?

I have ZERO programming skills, but am willing to do all the testing and risking my device for the good of the cause!!

Could someone be willing to help with this project?
I don't want to try and approach 'qole' after all his hard work with Easy Deb, this idea may seem like an insult to him (I LOVE EASY DEBIAN!).
