Hello N900 fans,

The strange problem I have is my status menu drop down gets corrupted after I run certain applications. Specifically, this only occurs after running a VPN application (such as vpnc, or vpnc-gui 0.4.2). Interestingly, it does not occur when I run vpngui 5.4.4, which is an entirely different application than vpnc-gui 0.4.2 (Written by different developers).

After I run a VPN tool my status menu drop down looses all my custom installed drop down items, leaving only Battery Status, Internet Connection, Profile, Bluetooth, and Availability). I loose things like "SSH on/off", "Tor on/off", "Wi-Fi on/off", "VPN on/off", etc. I get them back after a reboot.

This happens when I run either vpnc (the command-line tool), or vpnc-gui 0.4.2 (by Michael Arndt scriptkiller@gmx.de) but not when I run vpngui 5.4.4 by Juha V. Aalto juha.v.aalto@nokia.com). So it seems running a command line only tool like vpnc is enough to corrupt the status menu drop-down.
