reading through some older posts, it looks like a full charge (from a fully depleted battery) takes berween 3 and 4 hours on average. when its full, the on screen battery indicator should also show all 3 bars as green. I also read that there is no harm in over charging, since its a lithium battery, unlike those nihm batteris.
