Hi all, Like the original poster, my N900 won't let me download apps/firmware. I have been using my N900 very conservatively (meaning I only use/download from Nokia, Ovi, and Extras repositories). Have not messed around on Xterminal until today. I installed Rootsh, then went to Xterminal and typed: sudo gainroot (enter) apt-get install pymaemo-optify (enter) apt-get clean (enter) but my rootfs has not changed. According to the df -h command I get: rootfs Available: 34.1M Use: 85% So what do I need to do now to increase my rootfs so that I can download the firmware from Feb 2010 (PR1.1.1). Would like the safest yet effective way to do this if possible. Any help would be appreciated. I'm not Linux knowledgeable, so pretty much a noob. Also, thought this was weird, I uninstalled apps (like 50MBs worth) yet my rootfs hasn't increased, pretty much remained the same. Thanks.
