did you buy it on pay as you go or contract? if payg then you could quite easily get refunded from the network who sold you it! i havent even tried payg sim yet but as far as i was aware calls work.

where i stay many HDTV's will not pick up anything at all (never mind HD) without extra equipment being BOUGHT and connected to it, analogue signals have been turned off and digital receivers arent always built in - only the smallest bit of homework and even pensioners are well aware of this, and i've yet to see anyone trying to sue sony/pana/lg for it.

but yes ur right, sitting around waiting like a "passive b**ch" will only delay it, lets arm up and take it by force! wtf man? really? get a grip.
