I'm experiencing the same thing too... Pressing the power button quickly displays a series of "internal errors" which closes a lot of desktop widgets. Some of them manage to recover, some of them don't.
I think this might be due to the "Enhanced Linux Kernel for power users" which I've installed.
I think yesterday it had an update, so I updated it and then the phone started behaving weird... Could it be it?
