Hey guys - I just read this thread looking for answers as to why I couldn't seem to pair the various GPS units we had lying around the office with my Nokia 770.

I had thought that the pairing was accomplished by installing the Bluetooth plugin, connecting to the GPS device through that, and then starting up Maemo Mapper and pressing "Enable GPS".

It seems however that the proper route is not to use the BT plugin, but to go into Maemo Mapper's "Settings", do a "Scan" and connect to the proper device within Maemo Mapper itself before the "Enable GPS" step. Just thought I'd record this for posterity.
