Well i am experiencing some serious battery drain as well.

I charge my phone through the night every night and from average use at the end of each day i would normally have 3 quarters battery left. now my battery is ready to give out about 10 at night.

This could be related to the freezing bug or it may not, but they have both come about roughly at the same time.

Anyone else got unexplained battery drain who also has the desktop icon freezing bug as well?
