After the Power search on the forums, I found the following thread (http://talk.maemo.org/showthread.php?t=38541) and did like it was mentioned there. But the thread seems to end after the last post asked the same question that I am going to ask now.

Is there a method that will affect all the font sizes throughout the different apps and widgets etc.? The theme font size doesn’t seem to have an effect on many things. There was a mention about changing and replacing the system fonts with “your own fonts”. But I find it a little dangerous to do. And besides that, I have no idea which fonts should I put in place of the existing ones so that the change is for better? I mean, I’m happy with the current font style but the size is the problem. At my age, the fonts need to be at least twice the size they are currently used on the device I have a normal WinXP laptop. If someone could kindly suggest some font from there (including the pointer to the directory to look into) which would be big enough as a replacement for the current system fonts in the device. After that, I could try the dangerous task of replacing the fonts of the device and keep my fingers crossed!
